Huang Xingguo Former Acting Party Chief and Mayor of Tianjin Municipality under Graft Investigation

Huang Xingguo, former act- ing Party chief and mayor of Tianjin Municipality, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and dismissed from the public office, the Party discipline agency said.
The Supreme Peoples Procuratorate (SPP) said Huang has been placed under “coercive measures,” which may include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest.
Investigation into his case is currently under way, according to the SPP.
