CHINA AND SINGAPOREagreed to improve legal and judicial cooperation at a meeting between Meng Jianzhu, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and Singapore's Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon.

He called on the two sides to establish mechanisms on recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, legal and judicial cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and China-ASEAN legal and judicial exchanges.
