午休有助于学习

A nap will help you study more efficiently

Do you have the habit of taking a nap after lunch?If so,I congratulate you;if not,I strongly advise you to have a try.Because a recent research suggests that afternoon naps aid children's learning by boosting brain power.Though you are not a preschooler anymore,I still believe about half hour`s mid-day nap will help you in study.

40 youngsters took part in the test by researchers from University of Massachusetts Amherst and they found when the children were allowed a siesta after lunch they performed significantly better on visual-spatial tasks in the afternoon and the next day than when they were denied a mid-day snooze.

Following a nap,children recalled 10%more of the information they were being tested on than they did when they had been kept awake.

你有没有午休的习惯?如果有的话,我恭喜你;如果没有,我强烈建议你中午睡一会儿。因为近期一项研究表明:午睡可以增强大脑活力,从而促进儿童学习。尽管我们已经是初中生了,但是每天半小时左右的小睡肯定对我们的学习有帮助。

40名儿童参加了由Massachusetts Amherst大学研究人员主导的试验。研究人员发现:午休的孩子明显要比不午休的孩子表现要好——不只是当天下午,第二天的情况也是如此。午睡的孩子要比不午睡的伙伴能多记忆10%的信息。
