在欧洲，人们把一种鸟称为送子鸟。相传，送子鸟落到谁家屋顶造巢，谁家就会喜得贵子，幸福美满。因此，在欧洲乡村，经常能看到住家屋顶的烟囱上搭着一个平台，那就是专为送子鸟而准备的。这种神奇的送子鸟其实就是白鹳（white stork）。动画片《逗鸟外传：萌宝满天飞》（Storks）就是以这个传说作为原型，加入了充满创意的现代生活元素和搞笑元素，讲述了一个关于家庭温情的故事。

内特（Nate）是独生子，他的父母总是忙于工作而无法陪他，因此他心里感到很失落。一次偶然的机会，他从阁楼里翻到一张鹳速递服务公司（Stork Delivery Service）的“送子服务”宣传单。他按照宣传单的指引写了一封“求弟弟”的信。另一边，最佳快递鹳朱尼尔（Junior）突然被老板亨特（Hunter）提拔，但是条件是要他解决掉一个公司以前遗留下来的孤儿问题。孤儿叫小郁（Tulip），是因为送子意外而被迫留在鹳速递服务公司长大的人类，她给公司制造了很多麻烦。故事就从小郁制造的新麻烦开始，讲述了一场惊险的送子冒险之旅。最后，内特的父母终于明白了家人相伴的意义，小郁也找回了自己的家，朱尼尔也重新明白当年“送子服务”的意义，让公司业务重回正轨。

这天，内特跟父母一起开车外出。在遇红灯停车时，内特看到隔壁车子里有三个小朋友。其中一个小男孩对他的弟弟说了一些话。

SCENE A

Boy: I love you, brother. It’s like we’re best friends that live together!

Dad: What?

Nate: Shoo, shoo, Dad. Go.

Dad: Okay, all right. Fine.
