英语教育的天地是广阔的，社会是英语学习的大课堂。新课程标准要求我们要拓展英语教育新天地，给孩子们一片自由的天空。让孩子们走出封闭的课堂，去实践、去探索，在实践和探索中感受生活、体验生活、关心生活、热爱生活，以培养学生的实践能力、创新能力和参与意识。

一、教学目标及重点难点

1、知识与能力目标：

（1）掌握如何发出邀请，接受和拒绝邀请的重要句型。

Would you like to come to my birthday party？Yes，Id love to.

Im sorry .I cant come. Because… Id love to，but …

（2）能听懂别人发出的邀请，并能够发出邀请，有礼貌地接受和拒绝邀请。

2、过程与方法：

（1）在小组合作中开展共同意识，勇于在自己组内的研究中充当主要角色。

（2）创设情境模拟对话练习等方式，提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

3、情感态度与价值观：

通过合作小组的集体实践活动，培养学生的团结协作精神和社会参与意识。教育学生说话或为人处事要懂礼貌，加强交流，在交流中实现资源共享，使双方达到共赢。

二、新授课课型教学流程：

Step 1：Revision.复习一年十二个月、序数词以及月日的英语表达法。

1.Read twelve months of a year.

2.Change the following numbers.

3.Read the following dates.

4.Say when these important festivals are.

【设计意图】使学生掌握与本节课有关的基础知识，为学习扫清障碍。

Step 2：Lead in.导入新课并出示目标：

Answer the following questions：

1、When is your birthday ？

2、Do you want to have a birthday party ？

3、Do you want to invite your friends to your birthday party？

4、Do you know how to invite your friends？

【设计意图】创设问题情境，激发学生的求知欲望，明确了重难点。

Step 3：New lesson.（新课）

Part I（第一部分）：练一练

I.Listen to the tape and answer the questions.（听录音回答问题）

Picture One：When is Wei Huas birthday？

Picture Two：

1.Can Mary come to her birthday party？

2.Why cant she come？

Picture Three：Can Robert come to her birthday party？

Picture Four：

1.Can Mike come to her birthday party？

2.Why cant he come？

【设计意图】让学生带着问题去听对话，便于理解。

II.Read the dialogue.（分组读对话）

【设计意图】整体感知情节，加强学生的听力能力、理解能力和朗读能力的训练。

III.Explain the language focus.（解释知识点）

1.ask sb. to do sth.请求/要求某人做某事

ask sb.not to do sth.请求/要求某人不要做某事

2.invite sb.to sp.邀请某人来/去……

3.Would you like to do sth？你想要……吗？/你愿意……吗？

接受邀请：Yes，Id love/like to.

拒绝邀请：（1）Sorry/Im sorry，I can.Because…

（2）Id love to，but…

对方回答：What a pity！/Thats a shame.

4.My aunt from Canada is coming on Saturday.

（1）表示移动的动词：go，come，arrive，leave，start…通常用現在进行时表示将来时，相当于will+动词原形“将要”

（2）介词短语做后置定语：

the teacher with glasses，the girl in blue

【设计意图】突出重点，加强训练，举一反三。

Part II（第二部分）：比一比

Do a survey in groups（小组调查）要求理由合理、充分

1.Have a party and invite your friends.Find out who can come，who cant come. Then fill in the chart.

（举行一晚会，并邀请你的组内朋友参加。找出谁能来，谁不能来。然后再把姓名，是否能来以及不能来的理由写在表格里。）

2.Give a report in the class.（小组汇报）

示范汇报：Liu Fang would like to come to my birthday party.Li Lei can`t come to my party. Because he has to look after his little brother. And Tan Mei would love to come to my party.But she will see her grandparents.

【设计意图】通过小组间的交流与合作，使学生间的资源达到共享，从而提高学生在综合实践中敢于担当的能力。

Part III（第三部分）：听一听

Listen to the people talking about invitations .Do they accept or refuse the invitations？ Tick for ‘Acceptand cross for‘Refuse.

【设计意图】提高学生的听力能力和综合能力。

Part IV（第四部分）：演一演

1.Go to the beach on Sunday.

2.Go shopping on Saturday.

3.Go to the cinema.

4.Listen to music at your house.

5.Play basketball.

6.Have a picnic in the park.

【设计意图】通过事先抽签选择的具体情境，进行了社会调查，小组合作进行创编表演，提高了学生综合运用英语的能力。

Step 4：Talk freely（畅所欲言）

1. If your birthday is coming，what do you want to do？

2. Please talk about your birthday in your small groups. Then describe it to us.

【设计意图】自由谈论自己的生日，培养学生说的能力。

Step 5：轻松一刻

【设计意图】听英文版的生日快乐歌，使学生在轻松的氛围中反馈一下本节课的感受。

Step 6：Sum up.（總结延伸）

1、学生谈。2、教师谈。

【设计意图】让学生通过学习能够形成本节课的知识线索。

Step 7：Homework.（作业）
