HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!

恭贺新禧!

At SkyTeam, we're celebrating the Lunar New Year and the arrival of the Red Fire Rooster. With four local members - China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern and Xiamen Air - plus Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines too, our network is at the heart of the celebrations throughout Greater China and Asia.

2017 is a great year to see the world with SkyTeam

Those born in the Year of the Fire Rooster are hard workers, but everybody needs time out. If your resolution is to see the world, SkyTeam's 20 airline members offer you 1,062 destinations throughout 177 countries. Plus you can take advantage of a 72-hour visa-free stay when you fly via our Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou hubs.

Meanwhile, this year we're offering a generous 15% discount off a SkyTeam Round the World ticket - just book before the end of March 2017. Enjoy exploring!

Discover Greater China in your own time

If you are flying to Greater China on a Round the World or inter-continental ticket, what about SkyTeam's Go Greater China Pass? Choose between three to 16 stops across 150+ cities served by our four regional members - all on one flexible, economic ticket. Hike the Great Wall, dine in Shanghai, sail on Hong Kong's Star Ferry, then shop in Taipei…you decide.

Relax and unwind in a SkyTeam Lounge

Because traveling can be exhausting, we're working hard to deliver a seamless experience every time. To help you escape the hectic airport terminal, we're opening more SkyTeam Lounges. The newly-opened SkyTeam lounge in Beijing is an oasis of tranquillity and the Hong Kong lounge features a noodle bar for fresh food on-the-go and even a yoga studio.

Business Sense with SkyTeam China Corporate Connection

SkyTeam launched its China Corporate Connection product late last year. One simple agreement including travel on all 15 SkyTeam members serving the region, it offers companies in the dynamic Greater China market significant savings on corporate travel.

THE YEAR OF THE RED FIRE ROOSTER EXPLAINED

鸡年大吉

This year's Lunar New Year celebrations run from January 28 to February 15, 2017. The Lunar Calendar is associated with the 12 animal signs of the Chinese Zodiac, and 2017 is the Year of the Rooster. Once every 60 years, this year is also linked to the element of fire, making it the Year of the Fire Rooster, which last occurred in 1957.
