Feeling Yanan Spirit

【Abstract】The spirit of Yanan is a valuable spirit of the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese nation.It not only plays a major guiding role in the Chinese revolution and socialist construction，but also has important guiding significance for realizing the great Chinese dream.Read the spirit of Yanan，especially its self-reliance and hard struggle spirit makes me feel extraordinary deep，decided to write something around this spirit.

Yanan is a treasure place.It is the base of the Chinese Communist Party and the army，the industrious and brave working people use life and blood nurtured the Chinese revolution here.People gave birth to a valuable self-reliance and hard struggle spirit in revolutionary practice.This spirit will give us great spiritual strength and intellectual support，we need to learn and understand it to guide our practice.

1 Concept definition

Rebirth means regain life，metaphor revived.Self-reliance describes depend on our own strength to cheer up，to do things well.Mao Zedong once said：“Our policy to be based on what？If we base on our own strength，this call self-reliance.”[1]This saying told us that we should better adhere to the principle—mainly on our own but do not refuse help from outside.

Hard work means not afraid of difficulties，no matter how bad the situation is，what difficulties to face，we must overcome them.The idea of timid，cower must be throw away.Mao Zedong once stressed：“No matter in any difficult and difficult circumstances，as long as there is a person，this person will continue to fight”.[2]

2 To achieve the Chinese dream，need self-reliance and hard work for guidance

Mao Zedong once warned us：“The Chinese revolution is great，but the journey is longer，the work is more great and harder.”[3] With achieving remarkable achievements，we can stand proudly in the forefront of the world and worship by other countries，which makes us see the future of Chinas dream is bright，but all kinds of objective problems still exist.The road that we will go full of all kinds of thorns.So it will not be smooth sailing，which requires us to use self-reliance and hard work spirit for guidance.Capitalism regard us as the enemy，since the socialist system generated.Just like the mouse saw the cat which it seems to be natural enemies.

Capitalism，led by the United States，take all kinds of measures to oppose to China，such as，sending military forces to the South China Sea，interfering in Chinas internal affairs and reunification，which shows their hostile attitude towards China.They want to undermine our realization of the Chinese dream，which we need to use this spirit to beat back them which is the realistic basis of carrying forward the spirit.

Marxism holds that material decides consciousness and consciousness plays a motile counteractive to matter.Specifically：First，awareness activities have purpose and plan.Second，awareness activities have subjective creativity.Third，if consciousness wants to transform the objective world，practice is the only intermediary agent.As a consciousness possesses the above functions，hard work and self-reliance can provide spiritual power and intellectual support for achieving the great practice of Chinese dream，which is the theoretical basis.

3 Contemporary college students still need to work harder and hard work spirit

Liang Qichao said：“So the responsibility of today，not in others，but all in my juvenile.Juvenile wisdom country wisdom，juvenile rich country rich；juvenile strong country strength，juvenile independence country independence； young Chinese as young as young man who energetic，ambitious；like land，there is no frontier [4]”.

Xi Jinping，said：“The youth are full of the richest energetic and the highest hopes.The future of China belongs to younger generation，the future of Europe belongs to the younger generation，and the future of the world belongs to the younger generation”[5].We can see that young people are the hope of the motherlands future，our future is in the hands of young people，especially those who hold scientific and cultural knowledge.

However，college students have some bad atmosphere seriously affect the carry forward of the spirit.High level of consumption in daily life； lacking the spirit of study hard；too much emphasis on the individuals interests regardless of others.Cultivate college this spirit without delay.We can take the following measures：

First，the school should strengthen the education of college students.Practice is the source of cognition，social practice is a good way to cultivate college students self-reliance and hard work spirit.The school should better organize students to participate in social practice where cultivate the spirit of hard work.Second，strengthen the ideological and theoretical education.Marxism holds that consciousness plays a motile counteractive to matter.We have to set up a Marxist curriculum in the university and really instill it into the students minds，and then teach them how to use the spirit to solve practical problems.At the same time，we actively block the spread of negative，wrong thought which is not conducive to the spread of this spirit.So that both hands grasp，one hand grasp the prompt of this spirit，one hand grasp the resistance of all kinds of misconduct.
