一、文体概述

邀请信是邀请亲朋好友或知名人士、专家等参加某项活动时所发的邀请信件。写邀请信要简洁明了，通常要写清楚以下几个方面：1. 邀请对方参加的活动内容、时间和地点。2. 邀请对方参加的原因。3. 期待对方接受邀请。

二、必备短语

1. invite sb. to do sth. 邀请某人做某事

2. in order to do sth. 为了做某事

3. hold a party 举办晚会

4. in the Meeting Hall 在会议厅

5. take place 举行

6. take part in / participate in / compete in 参加

7. make progress 取得进步

8. look forward to 期待

9. accept ones invitation 接受某人的邀请

10. long for your coming 渴望你的到来

三、套用句式

1. Im writing to invite you to join us in the Talent Show. 我写信是想邀请你参加“才艺表演”。

2. We are going to hold a party for Toms birthday. 我们打算为汤姆举办生日晚会。

参考答案与范文

习作修改

1. on→in 因in the evening（在晚上）是固定词组。

2. They→It 指代上文的party，故用it。

3. friend→friends 因friend为可数名词，前面有some，故用复数形式。

4. but→and 跟前面并列，故用and。

5. 在have和good中间加上a 因have a good time（玩得愉快）是固定詞组，故需加上a。

6. honoring→honored 句意：我将感到荣幸。此处表示被动，故用honored。

7. got→get 因can take and get off，此处为并列谓语，故用get。

8. Justly→Just 句意：我的家正好在对面，故用Just。

9. that→which 非限制写定语从句，故用which。

10. 去掉to 情态动词后用动词原形，故去掉to。
