National Standard “Assessment of Green Product—Detergents” Opens for Public Comment

A revised draft of the proposed Assessment of Green Product—Detergents for China is now open for stakeholder feedback and comment.

The standard development project is coordinated by China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry(RIDCI), the China National Institute of Standardization, and the China Environmental United Certification Center Co., Ltd.

In July 2016, in order to improve the green market system, increase the supply of green products, and promote the reform of ecological civilization system, the China General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine launched Green Product Evaluation Standard Development Project. The standard of Assessment of Green Product—Detergents reflects the concepts such as energy saving, water saving,environmental protection.
