A fat man and a skinny man were arguing about who was the more polite.

The skinny man said he was more polite because he always tipped his hat to ladies. But the fat man knew he was the more courteous because， whenever he got up and offered his seat， two ladies could sit down.

一个胖男人和一个瘦男人正在为谁更有礼貌而争吵。

瘦男人说他更礼貌，因为他总是向一个女士脱帽致意。但是胖男人说他更礼貌，因为无论何时他起身给女士让座，总是能让两位女士同时坐下。

“Did you know I could tell time by the piano？” asked one friend of another.

“Youre kidding，” replied his companion dubiously.

“Ill show you，” said the first man as he sat down at the piano and started to hammer out a martial tune.

Within seconds came a pounding on the wall， and an angry voice shouting，

“Hey， you son of a bitch， dont you realize its three oclock in the morning？”

“你相信我可以由钢琴知道现在几点钟吗？”一位老兄向他的朋友问道。

“别开玩笑了！”他的朋友怀疑地回答。

“那我试给你看。”说着那位老兄就坐在钢琴前开始弹起一首进行曲。

几秒钟后墙壁传来捶打声，一个愤怒的声音叫道：

“嘿！个混蛋的，你知不知道现在是凌晨三点钟？”
