Abstract:Secondary reheat technology was widely applied due to high economic efficiency. This is not any application of secondary reheat unit in our country yet. Base one the first 660 MW-class ultra-supercritical secondary reheat boiler, the unit boiler features were introduced. Key technologies of secondary reheat boiler were discussed from cold state ventilation test, low load stable combustion, preliminary burning adjustment and other aspects. Solutions for the problems of combustor, fan and control logic were provided. After commissioning and improvement, unit operation is stable and reliable. All parameters meet the generation requirements.

Abstract:Based onK-means clustering algorithms and Gaussian mixture model, and a power plant’s 320 MW unit historical operation data, Gaussian mixture model of steam turbine shaft was built. By analyzing the similarity of real-time operation and expectation value from model, combined with steam turbine shaft failure database, ultimately realized steam turbine shaft failure diagnostic.

Abstract:In the cut pipe inspection and simulated cleaning test after engineering cleaning,it was found that the local oxide skin peeling part appeared a corrosion pit of more than 400 microns. The reasons for the formation of corrosion pit are analyzed. Analysis results show that the regional and local scale dissolved metal oxide skin peeling bare area, will form the “large cathode” and“small anode” battery corrosion effect, accelerated the corrosion of metals, the partial oxidation of skin peeling parts generated serious corrosion pit. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the corrosion control effect with the actual pipe sample when the chemical cleaning of the oxide skin of superheater is carried out simultaneously.

Abstract:Heat network heater is the core equipment of power plant heat supply system. The steam inlet flow regime is critical for the safety of heat network heat. Based on an operating heat network heater, the accident of heat exchange tube exploration was analyzed. Different improvement proposal was indicated. Based on 1︰1 physical model andk-εturbulence model, inlet flow regime numerical simulation was carried out under different pressure and flow rate by adopting computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The inlet flow rate distribution of different types of heat network heater was analyzed. Different improvement proposals were compared. Study result indicated that inlet flow regime influenced operational stability in certain level. Reformation of inlet type could effectively improve inlet regime and even flow rate distribution. Adding concentric reducer optimally effect flow regime.

Abstract:With the development of power distribution network, most network that does not have fiber optic communication adopted public network, such as General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), which increased the risk that attacked through public network. Safety protection plan published by State Grid in 2011 and 2017 was introduced and realized on Guodian Nanjing Automation Company Limited power distribution terminal, and then passed by the test of China Electric Power Research Institute.

Abstract:Existing operation box are usually large in size, has complicated circuits and many redundant circuits. This paper introduced the improvement of operation circuits and miniaturization and localization of operation box. Back-connecting type structure was replaced by layered type. Electrical modules, such as motherboard and indicator, were removed. The size was remarkably reduced while related standards were satisfied. After miniaturizing design, operation box could be install in primary

breaker terminal box, intelligent control cabinet or other place. Installation size was reduced to 1/4 to 1/2. Quantity of terminals was reduced to 1/2.

Abstract:To improve the safety and economic efficiency of boiler soot blowing system, steam resource shall be properly selected. After compared three steam resource plans, mixed resource from high pressure cylinder exhaust and low temperature reheater inlet was selected. After reconstruction, boiler heat consumption rate and generation coal consumption decreased. Working condition of soot blowing control valve was improved. Unit safety was enhanced.

Abstract:The Chebyshev spectral element method combined with spectral vanishing viscosity method is used to solve the one-dimensional convection-diffusion equation, aiming at the instability phenomenon of spectral element method for convection-diffusion equation with high Reynolds number. The stability of the method is deduced with character analysis, and the feasibility of the proposed scheme is verified by a numerical example. The influence of spectral vanishing viscosity parameters on stability and accuracy is discussed. It is demonstrated that the stability and accuracy at high Reynolds number of spectral vanishing viscosity method are obviously improved compared with that of spectal element method. Larger spectal vanishing viscosity term is beneficial for extending the stable region and smaller viscosity term is beneficial for improving the accuracy at the condition of stable computation. The size of the viscosity term could be appropriately set to guarantee the stability and obtain numerical solution with high accuracy.

Abstract:Based on a circulating fluidized bed boiler which burning inferior lignite, to increase reliability, uniformity and controllability of boiler coal feeding, the arrangement of coal bunker bay was improved. Abstract:In the production statement system of a power plant’s 1 000 MW ultra-supercritical unit, the counter balance net coal consumption value fluctuation is bigger than positive balance net coal consumption. Which did not satisfy the requirement of difference of positive balance and counter balance net coal consumption shall be less than 2%. To find the causes, heat balance was applied to evaluate unit performance. Factors that could influence counter balance net coal consumption were quantitively analyzed. The measurement tolerance, unknown leakage quantity, water supply pump seal leakage quantity and other factors were indicated. Real-time heat rate formula and accuracy of counter balance calculation was improved.

Abstract:In power plant construction, the erection of circular coal storage is critical for the whole project if the steel trestle span, erection height and weight over a certain scale. Erection plan, including lifting plan, steel trestle segment, erection site arrangement, lifting steel rope calculation and sectional lifting plan, was introduced. Matters about sectional lifting needs attention was pointed out.

Abstract:The calculation of belt conveyor foundation load is critical in coal handling system design. The accuracy of foundation load, provided by coal handling system engineer, is related to the cost of conveyor trestle, unloading ditch, transfer station and other facilities. Existing algorism is too simple, and lack of feasible or reliable theoretical prove. By consulting literature and engineering data, belt conveyor foundation load algorithm was discussed. Which could be referred for foundation load calculation.

Abstract:In the first phase construction process of concrete face rockfill dam of Elesai Downstream Hydropower Station in Cambodia, intensive cracks appeared on the face after the concrete pouring. According to the situation analysis, the main cause of cracks on face is the differential settlement of dam and the reverse water pressure inside the dam intensified the development of cracks and deformations. This paper introduced the treatments of the cracks and its effect, and summarized the experience and lessons in the construction process of concrete face.

Abstract:A power plant’s supercritical II1 type boiler was vibrating after maintenance. After analysis, calculation and test, vibration source was indicated from low temperature overheater. Vibration was found resonance due to Karman vortex shedding frequency is close to the acoustics standing wave frequency of duct. By adding anti-vibration separate plate at low temperature overheater area, vibration was eliminated.

Abstract:17CrNiMo6 is normal steel for bearings. There was an accident that a thermal power plant’s pulverizer reducer gear shaft, made from 17CrNiMo6, was broken. After macroscopic analysis, chemical element analysis metallographic structure analysis and mechanical property test, it was found that mechanical properties are not evenly distributed on the shaft outside surface carburized layer. Partial area is lower than standard required value. Breakage appears like impact fatigue caused. This equipment worked in high load condition for long period. Impact in start-up caused crack and expended to shaft core, ultimately caused shaft broken.

Abstract:Four units of induced draft fans of Hunan Huadian Changsha Power Generation Company’s two units of 600 MW are open cycle type. Due to operation environment of large humidity deviation and high dust content, power unit failed frequently. After reformation of combination of ID fan and booster fan, capacity of ID was increased from 4 000 kW to 6 000 kW. Existing 4 500 kV·A high voltage variable frequency device would not satisfy the requirement. To reduce the investment, the operation mode of redundant parallel was indicated. Power supply system capacity was increased. After reformation, fractional energy savings achieved 30% to 50%. At the same time, power consumption cost and operational cost was significantly reduced.

Abstract:To reduce steam turbine control valve throttle loss, steam distribution method was improved according to control valve flow characteristic test. After improvement, unit primary frequency modulation and automation generation control (AGC) responsiveness was weakened. To improve unit primary frequency modulation and AGC responsiveness, a technology that bring condensate water into primary frequency modulation and AGC was introduced. Unit capability of capacity variation was enhanced, and reduced control valve throttle loss. Energy saving operation was realized.

Abstract:Power plant desulfurization waste water contents large quantity of salt and water quality fluctuate greatly, which requires very thoughtful design. After applied mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) evaporative crystallization technology, desulfurization waste water zero emission was achieved. MVR evaporative crystallization system was detailed introduced, which could be referred for application of evaporative crystallization process.
