● 张玲出席匈牙利国庆招待会 会见驻渝新领事

3月25日，匈牙利驻重庆总领事馆在凯宾斯基酒店举办匈牙利国庆招待会，市政协副主席张玲出席了招待会并致辞。张玲副主席在致辞中表示，中国“一带一路”与匈牙利倡议的“东向”政策不谋而合，为中匈关系发展创造了新的机遇。匈牙利驻重庆总领馆自设立以来，在历任总领事带领下，与重庆市的政府部门、高校、企业、文化机构等建立了非常良好的合作关系，做了大量卓有成效的工作，相信随着新任总领事罗澜先生到任，重庆和匈牙利各领域尤其是在金融服务、科技创新、温泉旅游以及人文等方面的合作将更上一层楼。重庆方面愿与匈牙利驻渝总领事馆继续携手合作，共创更美好的未来。市外侨办副主任龙舟、驻渝领事官员及我市各有关领域代表共80多人出席了活动。

● 法德签证重庆受理中心正式成立

3月29日，法国、德国签证重庆受理中心正式对公众开放。该签证中心位于渝中区大坪巷子88号康德国际2号楼9层，属于成都领区，已试运行一个月。法国驻华大使顾山、德国驻成都总领事施恪、重庆市人民政府外事侨务办公室主任朱晞颜出席了开业典礼，致辞并剪彩。

据悉，法德签证（重庆）受理中心是欧盟申根国家在使领馆驻在城市之外地区开设的第一批签证受理中心，为赴法、德签证申请者提供包括多渠道信息平台、预约管理、材料受理、指纹采集在内的一站式签证申请服务。

● 捷克驻成都总领事诺子博首次访渝 推动两地合作

3月17日—18日，捷克驻成都总领事诺子博首次访问重庆。诺子博先后拜会了市文化委、市政府外事侨务办、市旅游局、市教委、重庆市动物园，就促进重庆市与捷克之间的交流进行了探讨。

访渝期间，市政府外事侨务办副主任王雯会见了诺子博总领事一行。王雯介绍了重庆市与捷克交往的基本情况，并表示希望深化双方的交流与合作。诺子博详细介绍了在文化、旅游、教育、动物园等方面与重庆市开展合作的想法，并表示将积极推动捷克与重庆市的交流与合作。

● “渝”你相约 “意”见钟情 意大利摄影大赛获奖作品揭晓

3月16日，由意大利驻重庆总领事馆发起的“渝”你相约，“意”见钟情意大利摄影大赛颁奖仪式在江北区鎏嘉码头佳想安善美术馆举行，本次大赛有100余名来自各地尤其是西南地区的游客参与。

此次摄影参展的作品均来自于2015年赴意旅游的中国游客，由意大利驻重庆总领事马非同与另外3名专业摄影师组成的评审团从中选出了80幅最精彩的作品参赛。

本次大赛分为“手机类”和“相机类”两个单元：每个单元选出3位获奖者，依照名次他们将获得意大利旅游套餐（重庆新干线国际旅行社提供）、重庆罗马往返机票（海南航空提供）以及手机和相机的摄影配件（由杜瓦诺摄影艺术空间提供）。除了摄影技术，图片质量以及创新性，评审团还考量参赛者跟公众分享的照片拍摄时的心绪和记忆。

颁奖仪式中，捧得相机类第一名的年轻的摄影师邓楠由于无法到场，特别提前录制了获奖感言来表达在旅行途中收获的“意”国之美。另外，一名重庆本地的摄影爱好者孙可卿也凭借其构图极富创意的作品而广受赞誉。

本次摄影展在北滨路鎏嘉码头佳想安善美术馆持续至3 月31日，该摄影展也将成为每年的固定节目，未来还将举办第二届。

● 意大利特伦蒂诺省副省长卡洛・达尔多斯来访

3月24日，意大利特伦蒂诺省副省长卡洛・达尔多斯一行来渝访问。重庆市政府外事侨务办公室主任助理王广成会见了代表团一行，就开展两地区在经贸、科技、农业、旅游、地区友好等合作事宜交换意见。双方表示将发挥比较优势，加强往来，探讨推动在上述领域务实合作。会见中，巴南区政府投资促进办、区外办代表还应邀专门介绍了巴南区区情和对意合作意向，就开展省区合作进行了友好交流。意大利驻渝总领馆及外侨办欧非处负责人等出席上述活动。

● 重庆芬兰签证申请中心开始运营

3月31日，重庆芬兰签证申请中心举行开幕仪式，新的签证申请中心从4月5日开始运营。该中心是由8个申根国组成的联合签证申请中心，除了芬兰，还集中了克罗地亚、奥地利、比利时、希腊、西班牙、瑞典和丹麦等国。

据悉，2016年春季末，芬兰也将在中国其他12个城市相继开设新的签证申请中心。目前，芬兰在北京和上海已设立签证申请中心。

“重庆是芬兰在中国西部的重要合作伙伴。”芬兰驻华大使馆新闻与文化参赞溥明睿在接受记者采访时说，随着芬兰航空在2012年开通了重庆与赫尔辛基的航线，芬兰是打开重庆和欧洲之间直飞航线的第一个国家。直航促进了重庆和芬兰之间的交流，也奠定了在重庆设立签证申请中心的基础。

● 重庆枫叶国际学校教育实践基地落户松溉古镇

4月2日，重庆枫叶国际学校校长王金英携管理人员及外教30余人到永川区松溉古镇参观，并举行签约授牌仪式。松溉古镇是继枫叶国际学校签约石笋山后的第四个教育实践基地。

王金英表示，松溉古镇教育基地的设立为枫叶教育注入了一份新力量，古镇与枫叶的合作也是中西文化完美结合的举措。

当日，枫叶国际学校一行除欣赏到自然美景，还感受了古镇丰富的人文文化，当地人为外教们展示了中国书法、竹艺编织等传统手工艺，使中加教师对中国文化有了更深层次的了解。

● 美驻成都总领事来渝推广中美旅游年

4月9日，美国驻成都总领事馆与美国旅游推广局在重庆北城天街启动了2016中美旅游年“走起，美国”大型旅游活动。活动现场，美国驻成都总领事谷立言来渝推广美国旅游，向重庆市民介绍了美国旅游资源和产品以及2016中美旅游年的推广主题。

本次活动是2016中美旅游年启动以来，美国驻成都总领事馆与Brand USA美国旅游推广局在西南地区共同举行的第一场大型赴美旅游推介活动，旨在进一步深度推广重庆赴美旅游，吸引更多的游客探索美国这一世界级的旅游目的地。

谷立言在现场致辞时表示，希望随着中美两国在旅游方面合作的深入，让重庆的民众赴美旅游更加快捷方便，从而更深入地了解美国、发掘更多美国的精彩。与此同时，美国驻成都总领事馆也与重庆市旅游局强化联系，希望吸引更多的美国游客前往中国西南地区旅游。

活动当天，Brand USA美国旅游推广局及来自美国旅游业的多家旅游机构还播放了美国旅游宣传片。

● 重庆企业走进波兰对话会在渝举行

由波兰驻成都总领馆、重庆市海外交流协会主办的重庆企业走进波兰对话会于4月18日举行。波兰驻成都总领馆相关人士透露，波兰驻成都总领事馆于5月起受理重庆市民签证申请，重庆市民前往波兰旅游不再需要到北京面签。

据介绍，该领事馆从5月1日起增设签证受理业务，由于中国和波兰两国节日假期安排有所不同，重庆市民要从5月4日起才能向波兰驻成都总领事馆递交相关申请材料。需要办理波兰签证的市民，须提前在波兰驻成都总领馆官方网站上进行预约，目前该网站只有英文和波兰语两种语言界面，尚未开设中文界面。

另据了解，波兰外交部正在筛选签证外包服务商，未来将考虑在重庆设立签证中心，届时重庆市民办理波兰签证将更加方便。

Zhang Ling Attends the National Day Reception of Hungary

On March 25, Hungary Consulate-General held its National Day reception at Kempinski Hotel Chongqing. Mrs. Zhang Ling, Vice-Chairman of the Chongqing People's Political Consultative Conference, has attended the reception and delivered a speech. She said that China’s “One Belt One Road”initiative happenes to have the same view of Hungary’s "Go East", which has created new opportunities for Sino-Hungarian relations. Hungary Consulate-General, led by the former Consul-General, has established a very good relationship of cooperation with the Chongqing Government departments, universities, enterprises, and cultural institutions and done a lot of fruitful work since it’s establised. She believes that with the new arrival of the Consul-General, Mr. Lóránd Dióssi , Chongqing will strengen cooperation with Hungary in various fields especially in the financial services, technology innovations, spa tourism and culture. Chongqing is willing to work with Hungary Consulate-General Chongqing to create a better future.

Franco-German Visa Centre Offi cially Opens in Chongqing

On March 29, the Franco-German visa centre is offi cially opened to the public in Chongqing. The visa application centre, which has been running for a month, belongs to the Consulate in Chengdu. French Ambassador to China, Mr. Maurice GOURDAULT-MONTAGNE; Germany Consul General in Chengdu, Mr. Klaus Schmidt and Director of CQCFO,Mr. Zhu Xiyan attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches.

It is said that the Franco-German visa (Chongqing) center is the first visa processing center that’s settled in city that’s not where the embassies and consulates of EU's Schengen countries stationed in, which provides one stop visa application service like multi-channel information platform, appointment management, materials accepted and fi ngerprint for applicants.

Consul General of Czech Chengdu Pays First Visit to Chongqing for Cooperation

On March 17-18th, the Consul General of Czech in Chengdu, Mr.Zbynek Noha paid his first visit to Chongqing. During his stay in Chongqing, he has met with Mrs.Wang Wen, the Deputy Director of the Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. Wang Wen introduced the basic exchanges between Chongqing and Czech, and expressed the wish to deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation. Mr. Noha introduced the idea of cooperation in culture, tourism, zoo, education with Chongqing, hoping to actively promote the exchanges and cooperation between both sides.

Winners of Italy Photo Contest Announced

On March 16, an Italy photo contest awards ceremony sponsored by Italian Consulate General in Chongqing opened, this competition involved more than 100 visitors especially tourists from the Southwest.

The photographic works on display come from Chinese tourists who have visited Italy in 2015; the most amazing 80 pics have been picked out by a jury made up of Italy Consul-General Chongqing, Mr. Sergio Maffettone, and 3 professional photographers.

At the awards ceremony, the young photographer, Deng Nan, won the fi rst place. In addition, another Chongqing local photographer, Sun Keqing also has gained recognition by the creative work.

This photo exhibition was on until March 31, it becomes an annual fi xture which will be held in the future every year.

Vice Governor of Trentino Visits Chongqing

On March 24, Vice Governor of Trentino,Mr. Carlo Daldoss visited Chongqing. The Assistant to the Director of Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Mr. Wang Guangcheng met with the delegation, exchanging views on friendly cooperation in economy, trade, science and technology, agriculture, tourism. Both parties expressed that will give play to comparative advantages and increase exchanges, discussing promoting pragmatic cooperation in these areas above. Representatives from the Consulate-General of Italy Chongqing and the Euro-African department of CQFAO attended the event.

Finland Visa Application Centre in Chongqing Starts Operation on 5thof April

Following the Franco-German visa centre settled in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, Finland visa application centre in Chongqing held its opening ceremony on March 31, and officially started operating on April 5.The Centre is made up of 8 European Schengen countries of their visa application centers, besides Finland, there are also Croatia, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Spain, Sweden, and Denmark.

It is learned that Finland will also open new visa application centers in 12 cities in China in the end of the spring of 2016. Currently, Finland has established the visa application centers in Beijing and Shanghai.

Mikko Puustinen, News and Cultural counselor of Finland Embassy said that, In May, Finland Tourist Offi ce and Finland Aviation, as well as other Finland tourism industry will launch a new service project called "Stop over Finland", which is for those who wish to stay in Finland for 5 hours to 5 days to offer relevant products and services to meet their needs.

Education Practice Base of Maple Leaf International School-Chongqing Settles at Songgai Ancient Town

On April 2, principal of Maple Leaf International School-Chongqing, Mrs. Wang Jinying brought managers and teachers of more than 30 people to visit Song Gai ancient town in Yongchuan district, and held a signing ceremony. Song Gai town is the 4th educational practice base of Maple Leaf International School-Chongqing after signing agreement with Shisun Moutain.

Wang Jinying said that the education base at Songgai town injected a new power into the Maple Leaf education, which is also the perfect combination of Chinese and Western culture.

U.S. Consulate General Chengdu Promotes U.S. -China Tourism Year 2016 in Chongqing

On April 9, the U.S. Consulate General Chengdu launched the major tourism event “Discover America” of U.S. - China Tourism year 2016 with U.S. Tourism Promotion Bureau in Chongqing. U.S Consul General in Chengdu, Mr. Greene Raymond, came to Chongqing to promote American tour, introducing United States tourism resources and products, as well as 2016 China Tourism year promotion themes to the Chongqing residents.

Mr. Greene Raymond said that as the deepening of Sino-US bilateral cooperation in tourism, it’s faster and easier for Chongqing people travelling to the United States, so as to better understand the country and to discover more of it. Meanwhile, the U.S. Consulate General Chengdu will strengthen contact with Chongqing Tourism Bureau, hoping to attract more American tourists to travel to the Southwest China.

Chongqing Enterprises Going to Poland Forum Opens in Chongqing

A Chongqing Enterprises Going to Poland Forum that’s held by Consulate General of Poland Chengdu, and Chongqing Overseas Exchange Association opened on April 18. It is reported that Poland Consulate General Chengdu will accept visa application from Chongqing residents from May; Chongqing people who want to travel to Poland are no longer need to go to Beijing for visa.

According to Poland Consulate General Chengdu, it starts visa processing business on May 1st; Chongqing people may apply application materials on May 4thdue to the different holiday arrangements of two countries. People who apply visas to Poland must make appointment at the offi cial website of the Consulate General in Chengdu in advance, currently this site is only in English and Polish, Chinese version has not yet been created.

It was also learned that Foreign Ministry of Poland is picking visa outsourcing service provider, and will consider settling visa application centre in Chongqing.
