The 500-meter aperture spherical telescope FAST is completed in Pingtang County， southwest Chinas Guizhou Province， on June 21.
FAST is expected to be the worlds largest telescope， overtaking Puerto Ricos Arecibo Observatory， which is 300 meters in diameter.
