Wuthering Heights, the talented English writer's unique novel, releases unique, shining and splendid glory in the brilliant literary constellation of the nineteenth century. Their love shocks people. At the same time, it also leaves many thoughts to posterity. Love has always been to bring rich colors to the tragedy from its formation of the human spirit. Its tragedy is always there to breed in the characteristic social roots and its limitations of the times, and the hero's personality and ambivalence are to promote its development. Their tragedy is inevitable.

The book tells us a story about love and revenge. Heathcliff was a Gypsy outcast who was brought up by Mr. Earnshaw, the owner of Wuthering Heights. Mr. Earnshaws daughter Catherine got on well with him. However, Mr. Earnshaws son Hindley hated him very much, for Heathcliff was short of his love sent from his father. After their father died, Hindley became the new owner, starting to rack him, preventing Catherine from mingling with Heathcliff. However, those were all in vain, because they had fallen in love. But it all changed when Catherine happened to intrude into Thrush Country. She was fascinated by the scene of wealth, and couldnt help accepting Master Edgars proposal, which hurt Heathcliff deeply, so he left Wuthering Heights. Three years later, he came back with property, also with his revenge plan. He enticed Hindley to absorb in gamble to make him a penniless, and married Isabella, tormenting her, tormenting Catherine at the same time. Catherine died in childbirth. On her deathbed, Heathcliff came in, expressing their deepest love to each other. After Catherine died, he began to torment those people around him; Catherines daughter, Hindleys son, and even his own son. At the end of the book, Heathcliff died in sadness, with his yearning to Catherine.
