Sarah Winchester lived in California. She was a very

Amber Wong was not like many of her classmates. She didn’t listen to popular music. She didn’t watch many movies, and she wasn’t interested in nice clothes.

After a meeting, I returned to my hotel room late in the evening. The overhead light outside my door was 1 and I had difficulty finding the keyhole. When I finally opened the door, I 2 around the wall for a light switch(开关).

Several years ago, I was at a train station in Amsterdam. I saw a young homeless man 1 people for money so he could buy breakfast. Tonight I am more than happy to read out the winners of the photo competition. We were very pleased with our competition this year. 1 with other years, we received many more photos. Even though all of the photos are excellent, we are 2 to say that we cannot give prizes to everyone.

The person 3 won the prize for the subject Nature is fifteen-year-old Li Wei. Li took a photo of the trees in Xiangshan Park. His photo shows the different colors on the hill.

The photo which we liked best in the City and People group was taken by Zhao Min. Zhao Min is only twelve years old. Her photo shows a person 4 across a street on an windy evening. It is a beautiful girl, wearing a blouse and skirt, who is protecting her books 5 the shower.

The best photo in the Music group was 6 by He Zhong. His photo of the group Crazy Feet shows the singer, Becky Wang, and the band playing at a concert. He Zhong 7 to show how this great new band moves and sounds and the good time which their fans are having.

A group of photos which show Beijing and Cambridge in England has won the prize for the 8 the Home and Away. They show some of the experiences of a young visitor to our country and some memories of his home. The winner is Tony Smith!

The 50-year-old farmer, Wu Yulu, is quite different from the others at his village. He is the 1 of 38 handmade robots.

Born in a 2 family, he did not have the chance to go to school. But even as a child, he knew he wanted to make machines. “I think 3 machines is a talent I was born with,” he said.

In 1987, he finally finished his 4 robot that could walk like a man. He named it “Wu No. 1.”

One day before my final exam, my dad gave me a gift. It completely 1 my life.
