Otherwise， each operating license illustrates the scope of the prod-uct being sold， what kinds of fireworks and firecrackers they sell and the period of validity only permitted during the spring festival. Several actions will be enforced to control the fireworks and firecrackers， reduce the opportunities of the illicit sale of fireworks and firecrackers and decrease the probability of any potential safety hazards.

However， this policy has been met with differing reactions in the local community. Some citizens voice support for these measurements that have been implemented by the local government， while some citizens will not.

The benefits of enforcing these regulations are：

Firstly， it will ensure better air quality and reduce the density of the PM2.5. The Shanghai environmental protection bureau， on this Spring Festival eve， has already reported that the PM2.5 concentrations of inner rings areas are significantly lower than the outer-rings outside areas. Due to the bad influence of diffusion condition， the outside area of the outer-ring road and surrounding areas were unable to refresh the air.
