Chinese and English abstracts and key words The length of abstract should be 50 -300 words, which could compendiously generalize the content of the paper. Structured abstract is required in test research and special research papers including research objective, method, result and conclusion. Abstract should be independent and self-contained,which means the necessary information could be obtained without reading the whole paper. The amount of key words should be 3-5.English and Chinese key words should be coincident.

Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International(CABI)is an international Agricultural information Institute with headquarters in Britain.CAB Abstracts is an abstract disc database that has been published by CABI since 1989.In database,all records are collected from CABI printing abstracts which contain 14 000 periodicals,special reports,proceedings,theoretical studies,annual reports,etc.The records cover all fields of agricultural sciences and the subjects include Agronomy,Biotechnology,Plant Protection,Dairy Science,Economics,Forestry,Genetics,Microbiology,Parasitology,Animal Husbandry and Veterinary,Human Nutrition,Rural Development and so on.

Titles The most important and specific content should be reflected by the most proper and concise words. Subtitle(second-grade title)is not used usually in this journal.Title of the manuscript should be within 20 words and avoid uncommon abbreviation,abbreviation of the first letter,character,code name,formula and so on.English title should be in accord with the Chinese title. The first letter of the alphabets in the title should be capitalized, not including conjunctions and articles.Titles of the main article should be ranked by arabic numerals continuously with clear structure,and the most of three class title could be used.

Content requirements Agricultural Science ﹠ Technology mainly publishes the original and unpublished research papers,research notes,speed dispatch,agricultural new technology,etc,which are related to the applying of the disciplines of agricultural sciences in application basis, high tech and other aspects. A submitted manuscript should have characteristics of detailed and believable materials, reliable data, succinct writing, definite argumentation and certain innovation. A review should report the recent research progress in important fields of agricultural sciences at home and abroad and have guiding significance to scientific development.

In 2009, Agriculturtal Science Technology’s full-texts have been included by international authority of the search tools AGRIS.AGRIS is the international information system for the agricultural sciences and technology. It was created by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)in 1974,to facilitate information exchange and to bring together world literature dealing with all aspects of agriculture. AGRIS is a cooperative system in which participating countries input references to the literature produced within their boundaries and, in return, draw on the information provided by the other participants.To date,240 national,international and intergovernmental centres participate.
