CIIS Vice-President Meets with Pakistan Minister
On March 25, 2015, CIIS Vice-President Dong Manyuan met with a Pakistani delegation led by the Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal. The two sides explored issues such as the significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC), specific fields for cooperation, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by both countries. As the world economy is slowing down, CPEC has injected new opportunities and impetus into bilateral and regional economic development. Staff and students from the Center for Pakistan Studies of Peking University also participated in the discussion.
