CHINA TODAY 2015年4期

I happened to read an edition of your journal published in 2008 at the home of a friend of mine in Mexico. I found the report on the Beijing Olympic Games so interesting that I kept on reading your magazines from then on. I have since amassed a large collection. I enjoy their high quality content, and appreciate the design. I am looking forward to reading more interesting stories about what is happening in China. I wonder whether it would be possible for you to send me the 2008 issue with the report of the Olympic Games that I enjoyed so much. Thank you for all your help.

I am a professor of economics and have been one of your readers for a decade. I always feel happy to receive the magazine each month, and to discover a little more about China and keep abreast of the news there. I greatly appreciate the cultural exchanges column which I find of great interest and also occasionally humorous. In some articles, you introduce the lifestyle of young people in China. I am a big fan of gardening. Seeing young Chinese people so devoted to protecting the environment is very heartening! I always look forward to the next issue!

I am a middle school student in Hubei Province. I have subscribed to your magazine for about three years. It helps me to keep up with current news and affairs and, as a student of English, also to improve my language skills. For example, the article “Difficulties, Solutions, and Hope,” about the diplomatic relations between China and Japan, is one of my favorites. I would like to know if there are audio versions of your articles, as it would be very convenient for readers to listen to them on their MP3s – just one small suggestion. Thank you for your work!

I am a high school student. To be honest, my main aim in reading your magazine was to improve my English. But I soon found it more interesting than I expected. Although I have to handle the academic burden and pressures of my studies, I still like to set aside time to read your magazine. As a student, what concerns me most is education reform, which millions of Chinese students are anticipating. Pollution is another issue that I keep an eye on. My hometown Shijiazhuang, capital city of Hebei Province, is always shrouded in a heavy haze. I hope to learn more about proposals for a possible solution. Thank you for your hard work in providing us with such a high quality magazine.
