The Dragon Boat Race

Today is Dragon Boat Festival. I got up as early as usual.

“Shall we watch the Dragon Boat Race？ ” I asked my parents.

“Yes， we shall. The race will start at nine oclock， ” said my father. We had breakfast first. My mother was cooking in the kitchen. The dumplings smelled good. I like eating dumplings.

After breakfast， we walked to the river bank. We saw some boats in the river. The players were in two groups. Some players were in red and other players were in yellow. The players in yellow were trying to win the match. At first they were going ahead， but at last the players in red were rowing in front of those in yellow！I heard the red team were jumping and laughing. How happy they were！I saw the yellow team players were waving their hands to people， as if they also enjoyed the festival. They didnt win the race， but they tried hard. We all enjoyed the exciting match！
