1. doubt   n.   怀疑;疑惑，疑问

v.    怀疑，不相信，不信任

There is no doubt at all that we did the right thing.

doubt无论作名词还是动词，如果用在否定句或疑问句中，其后的宾语或同位语从句常用that引导;如果用在肯定句中，其后的从句多用if或whether引导（若是同位语从句，则只能用whether引导，不能用if）。

Children ought to be able to read by the age of 7.
