FOR countries in transition, a national dream is a national project. In China, the Chinese Dream means national rejuvenation, a project driven by Chinese leadership. Thus the Chinese Dream is a growing and developing vision or a goal for the future.

These visions are normally far removed from reality, and difficult to achieve with existing policies. New efforts are needed to mobilize unused resources and introduce new moves in order to realize the nations goal. For example, state leaders can propel the country to reach the goal; outstanding personages or groups can play a role in advancing towards the goal; ideologists can also exert influence on the countrys leadership and the content of the goal. Moreover, the national dream must meet the interests and needs of the whole country, rather than the limited interests of a few individuals.

The key to realizing the Chinese Dream is the success of Chinas economic development, especially with an open market.

The Chinese Dream is inspiring the Arab world as well, and inspiring Arabic peoples to embrace the values of freedom, justice, and dignity. Since 2008 a group of ideologists from different Arab countries have been cooperating to build the Arabic Dream. Their vision bears some similarity to the Chinese Dream. Hence the Arab countries can learn from the experience of the Chinese Dream to rebuild and restructure the system of national justice.

Its believed that strengthened cooperation between China and the Arab world would contribute to a stable political situation in the Middle East, and create a favorable environment for China and the Arab world to realize their dreams.
