Armed police officers learn an ethnic dance from volunteers in Hefei， east Chinas Anhui Province， on July 30， as part of this years Army Day celebrations. Army Day， which marks the founding of the Peoples Liberation Army （PLA）， the principal body of Chinas armed forces， on August 1， 1927， is observed by the PLA as well as the countrys armed police force.
