Shi Jianting， the sixth-generation successor of Gaomi ash-patting new-year paintings， draws at a studio in Gaomi， east Chinas Shandong Province， on June 1. Gaomi ash-patting new-year paintings are a traditional art craft which has enjoyed a history of over 500 years. It has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages.
