Zhu Zuoli Vice chairman of lesser congress in Shaanxi under investigation

On February 19， the Central Disciplinary Committee and Ministry of Supervision announced on its website that Zhu Zuoli， ViceChairman of Shaanxi Provincial Peoples Political Consultative Conference， is being investigated for suspected serious discipline violation.

Zhu Zuoli worked in Shaanxi Economic and Trade Commission for 18 years. In 2002， Zhu Zuoli was designated as the Executive Office Deputy Secretary-General of Shaanxi Provincial CPC Committee. According to local reports， Zhu Zuoli was highly praised by higher-ranked leaders from the provincial administration for his service and capability.

In 2006， Zhu Zuoli was transferred to Shaanxi Development and Reform Commission and appointed Deputy Director and Director suc- cessively. In January 2013， he took the office of Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC Shaanxi Provincial committee.

During the 18 years when Zhu Zuoli worked in Shaanxi Economic and Trade Commission and 7 years in Development and Reform Commission， he was said to be one of the governmental officials with real power and frequently had opportunities to approve hundreds of millions valued projects.

According to local media， Shaanxi Development and Reform Commission is deeply involved in an investigation into a corperate crime which created a great sensation in Shaanxi， and Zhu zuoli was holding the office in the Development and Reform Commission at that time.
