People seek safety outdoors after a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck Yutian County， northwest Chinas Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region， on February 12. As the epicenter did not happen in a densely populated area， there were not yet reports of casualties as of 11 p.m. that day. An emergency rescue team is already operating in the area.
