The First-phase of 100,000 Refined Copper Project in Guangan of Sichuan Province Completed and Put into Operation

On March 18th, reporter learned from Guangan Merchants Bureau that Keta Metal Incorporated Company invested in and developed a refined copper project of 100,000 tons and initiated its first stage.
The project started in March of 2010 and lasted for 3 years. The anode plate project with annual output of 100,000 tons in the first stage and 50,000-ton cathode copper project have all been completed and went into production. According to the plan, the second-stage project will be started in June of this year and go into operation in 2014. Its annual output of anode plate is 200,000 tons and cathode copper is 100,000 tons. At present, the purity of anode plate reaches 99.3% and after cathode plate with high purity of 99.9% will be achieved.
Keta Metal Incorporated Company of Guangan will also, in several phases, build fine machining production line for the processing of nonferrous metals such as cobalt, tungsten, nickel and silver, form a whole industrial chain, establish a non-ferrous metal industrial park and expand its business to downstream products such as copper wire and copper pipe. As a pillar and leading industry of Guangan, it will be the first non-ferrous metal industry in Guangan and will be of great significance to upgrading the industrial structure of Guangan.
