Antaike estimates that the demand for tungsten will increase to 37,987 tons in China this year,up by 18% compared with the year 2012. According to the Antaike data, the consumption volume of tungsten in our country in 2012 was 32,082 tons, down by 21% compared with the year 2011. It is expected that the world economy will gradually recover both this and next year,so that the consumption volume of tungsten will be bigger than 2012. The volume is expected to increase to 39,745 tons. The price of tungsten concentrate is expected to reach 123,000 yuan per ton this year, up by 3% than the 119,000 yuan per ton of 2012. The price in 2014 will continue to rise to 125,000 yuan per ton, up by 2% than that of 2013.
