招聘：“巨石阵”首位总经理

Its not your usual help-wanted ad， but it is a historic one. For the first time in its predicted 5，000-year history， Stonehenge is looking to hire.

The Telegraph reports only the “brightest and the best” need apply for the general manager position under English Heritage， which pays ￡65，000—roughly$99，000 a year.

But we have to wonder， how does one “generally manage” prehistoric stones？

The BBC explains duties include：

-Leading the Wiltshire monuments 180 staff and volunteer members

-Meeting with Druid leaders

-Overseeing celebration plans for summer and winter 1）solstices

-And most importantly， keeping the “dignity of the stones”

Although its exact purpose is still a mystery， many believe Stonehenge was constructed as a temple to the sun， aligning with the rising and setting of the sun at the solstices.

The Daily Mail reports a new museum， exhibition gallery and restaurant will open close to the ruins by the end of the year—providing tourists with a more pleasant visit than what owners believe they are experiencing now.
