A Colorful Run

On August 10， 2013， more than ten thousand sports enthusiasts from all over the world flocked to Garden Expo Park in southwestern Beijings Fengtai District， where the international event， The Color Run， met a rousing welcome in its first trip to Asia.

Founded in the U.S. in 2011， The Col- or Run is a five-kilometer， untimed race in which participants are doused from head to toe with various colors of paint after each kilometer. Also known as the“Happiest 5K on the Planet，” The Color Run not only gives participants a taste of traditional racing， but also brightens the experience of participation with a rainbow of vivid colors.
