Control design and simulation of the Spherical pendulum based on LQR

In this paper, the Furuta pendulum which is the classic modelof the spherical pendulum will be discussed. The issue is to carry thependulum to the upright position and the make it stable at this inver-ted position. In this paper, the nonlinear system will be linearisedand then simulated by LQR method.
