Moscow

Sangram Singh is a wrestler and reality TV star I first visited Moscow way back in 2007, for an international wrestling tournament and instantly took a fancy to the city. Home to a culture and heritage that dates back many centuries, the land of the Czars left me awestruck. I had kept a few days aside for sightseeing and loved what I saw. I enjoyed walking through Red Square, the heart of the Russian capital and one of the citys most important meeting places followed by the stunning sights of St. Basils Cathedral, the Kremlin and Bolshoi Theatre that are close by. On my last visit, I explored the old town area and got breathtaking views from Vorobiev Hills, the highest point of Moscow. Since I am fond of history, art and architecture, I went to Tretyakov Gallery, Bolotnaya Ploschad, New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow State University Complex, Borodino Panorama, Triumphal Arch and New Maiden Convent. If you are a fitness freak like me, go for a jog around Gorky Park. AS TOLd TO ANANT NARAyAN
