Zhejiang Daheng Group Newly Acquired the Mining Right of Copper Mines in Zambia

Recently, Daheng Group, a company headquartered in Zhuji, Zhejiang, has acquired the mining right of two copper mines in Zambia. It has been learned that these two copper mines have an area of over 300 sq km, and are located in copper production zone, it is estimated that their copper reserve will reach several hundred thousand tons, featuring brilliant economic prospects.
It has been learned that as a private-owned enterprise, Daheng Group is the second enterprise in Zhejiang Province to make overseas investment, and also the first private-owned enterprise to invest in Africa, as early as in 1998 it invested and set up a plant in Botswana in Africa, which has now developed into one of the largest Chinese invested enterprises in Botswana.
Daheng Group entered mining industry in 2008, up till now it has acquired the right to develop mineral resources on more than 50,000 sq km of land in several countries in South Africa; the resources include diamond, various metals, gold, coal and coal bed gas etc. Daheng Group also has become one of the few Chinese enterprises which own the mining right of large area of mineral resources in Africa.
