China Nonferrous Metals Monthly 2011年6期

According to the ‘Nonferrous Metal Industry Development Plan of Guizhou Province for the"Twelfth Five Year”’, during the "Twelfth Five Year" period, the nonferrous metal industry will focus on adjusting industry structure, vigorously develop downstream processing of resources, improve the intensive utilization standard of resources, in order to build up an important nonferrous metal industry base in China.

Within the next five years, total output value of nonferrous metal industry will reach 100 billion yuan, the annual average growth rate will be above 35%; accumulated finished investment will top 100 billion yuan. It will develop annual production capacity of 5,600,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 2,600,000 tonnes of aluminum, 1,500,000 tonnes of aluminum processing products, 30,000 tonnes of titanium sponge, and 16 tonnes of gold, and develop 2 to 3 10 billion yuan enterprises.

The "Plan" proposed that by 2015, Guiyang Aluminum & Aluminum Processing Base will newly add 1,800,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide production capacity, 800,000 tonnes of aluminum, and 450,000 tonnes of aluminum processing production; Zunyi Aluminum,Titanium Production Processing Base will newly add 2,600,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide production capacity, 800,000 tonnes of aluminum, 750,000 tonnes of aluminum processing, 10,000 tonnes each for titanium sponge, high titanium iron and titanium product downstream processing, 1000 tonnes of electronic grade high purity titanium; the Southwest Guizhou Gold Base will enable gold production capacity to reach 15 tonnes per year through promoting construction of gold projects including Zhenfeng Changtian.

During the "Eleventh Five Year" period, the nonferrous metal industry of Guizhou Province has achieved relatively fast growth. In 2010,the total output value of nonferrous metal enterprises with annual output value above 5 million yuan reached 22 billion yuan, 1.64 times of that in 2005, accounting for 5.4% of total industrial output value of enterprises with annual output value above 5 million yuan in the whole province.
