Yanggu County ( in Shandong Province) to Build the Largest Copper Industry Base in North China

Yanggu County is planning to build Xiangguang Eco-industrial Park led by Xiangguang Copper. Upon completion, annual revenue from main business will exceed RMB 100 billion,and become the largest copper industry base in North China.

Yanggu Xiangguang Eco-industrial Park is situated at Shifo Town, Yanggu County, Shandong Province. Led by Xiangguang Copper, the park plans to establish a world-level leading“Copper Processing and R&D Research Center” in the next 5 years, develop “double resources” of copper mine and recycled copper,and build 3 major bases of copper smelting,copper deep processing and recycled copper resource utilization; and build “3 recycled economic chains” with main materials of waste gas, waste residue and anode slime generated in the process of copper smelting. By that time,the park will be able to produce 900,000 tons of cathode copper, 600,000 tons of fine and deep processing copper products, 20 tons of gold,600 tons of silver, 1000 tons of rare metals as well as disassemble capacity of 600,000 tons of iron alloy and 350,000 tons of recycled copper annually, with annual main business income over RMB 100 billion and pre-tax profits over RMB 10 billion.

With Jiangnan Industrial Park as core carrier and reliance on Alnan Aluminum and Alnan Aluminum Processing Co., Ltd., Nanning will strive to develop deep-processing products for industries of aviation & aerospace, rail transit,construction, decoration, packaging, printing,electronics, auto parts and electric power, etc.,gradually transform from rough machining to deep processing, and increase additional product value and optimize product structure. In the next 5 years, Nanning will build an aluminum processing industry base, which is advanced in technological level in China, of the largest size in southwest China and mainly featured with high-end aluminum processing. In 2011, output value of the aluminum processing industry will exceed RMB 8.5 billion.
