In this method,we can divide the items to be memorized into small groups that have the relationships among them.For example,the list apple,paper,ink,cabbage,banana,grapes,beans,orange.We can group them like this:apple,banana,grapes,orange;cabbage,beans;paper,ink—4 fruits,2 vegetables and 2 stationary items.故名思议这种方法就是把需要记住的东西分成互相之间有关系的几个小组。例如:苹果、纸、墨水、卷心菜、香蕉、葡萄、豆、橘子可以这样分组:苹果、香蕉、葡萄、橘子;卷心菜、豆;纸、墨水——4种水果,2种蔬菜,2种文具。
2.Bridging搭桥法
In this method,a bridge is built between the items given to be memorized.An example often cited is the learning of the capital of Poland—Warsaw.World War II started with Germany’s attack on Warsaw.Thus Warsaw went through the war first.Here,the two words are Poland and Warsaw.The World War II is used as a bridge in bringing them together.这种方法是在记忆材料之间架设“桥梁”。一个经典例子是波兰首都——华沙的记法。第二次世界大战始于德军对华沙的侵略,所以华沙最先经历了战争。这里的一对词是“波兰”和“华沙”,把它们联接起来的“桥梁”是二战。
3.Bed-time Recital边睡边记法
In this method,you do your recital or rote learning just before going to bed.The mind in the process of sleeping would then arrange the information in a systematic and effective way when you are sleeping.Psychologists have found that if you sleep after thinking about your problems.There is a better chance that you arrive at a solution the next day.在睡觉之前背诵、记忆,大脑会在你入睡后对之前输入的信息进行系统、有效的整理。心理学家发现,如果你在思考问题之后睡上一觉,你就更有可能在第二天醒来以后得到答案。
4.Trying by Not Trying顺其自然法
Sometimes even if you try to recall,you may not be able to get it.Actually you just keep away from trying to recollect it and do something else.That information automatically pops up into your mind soon.This is because even if you stopped trying,the mind is searching for that information and brings it to awareness when it is found.有时候你越是努力,反而越回忆不起来。其实你只需要停止回忆,去做别的事情,答案不久就会自动浮出脑海!这是因为虽然你的意识已经停止回忆了,但是潜意识还在默默的寻找线索,一旦找到,答案就进入意识了。
