Yanda International Health City Opens

The China Yanda International Health City is a large scale, international, information driven, ecological, and senior nursing and healthcare base equipped with medical, education and research facilities. The city is invested by Yanda Industrial Group.

Located in Yanjiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, east of Beijing, the health city is about 30 km away from Tiananmen Square and 25 km from the Beijing Capital International Airport. It occupies a total foor area of about 1.1 million square meters and was built with a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.47 billion).

The health city consists of fve parts: Yanda International Hospital, Yanda Golden Age Health Nursing Center, Yanda International Medical Research Institute, Yanda International Medical and Nursing Training Institute and Yanda International Conference Center.

Yanda International Hospital is a large comprehensive hospital functionally combining medical care, research and teaching. It was built to the GradeⅢ-A standard stipulated by the Ministry of Health of China.

Yanda Golden Age Health Nursing Center is located in a warm and semihumid area with an annual precipitation of 700 mm, and an average annual temperature at 10-12 degrees Celsius. With pleasant weather, beautiful environment, and fresh air, as well as cuttingedge medical equipment, state-of-theart management and quality service, the center is an ideal place for living and rehabilitation.

On July 1, the Yanda International Health City went into partial operation. The nursing center was scheduled to open to occupants since July 15.

Baby Born in Oakwood Apartments Beijing

At 1:30 p.m. on June 12, 2010, Oakwood Apartments Beijing Assistant Front Offce Manager Tracy Cui received an urgent call for help from Alexander Wehebrink in Apartment No. 413. Wehebrink said that his wife was about to give birth and he needed immediate assistance. Cui raced to the apartment and assisted Wehebrink to deliver the boy. The successful delivery took just 10 minutes. The mother and the 3.85-kg baby boy were all well.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Wehebrink agreed that Oakwood, located in Beijing’s Chaoyang District does truly provide full service!

The Ascott Expands in Two Cities

The Ascott Ltd. (Ascott), the world’s largest international serviced residentialproperty owner and operator, announced signing two management contracts regarding properties in Xi’an and Shenzhen. The properties will be open in 2012 and 2013 respectively. The expansion has increased Ascott’s portfolio in China to 5,500 apartments in 29 properties across 13 cities.

Li Zhiqin, Ascott’s director and general manager in north Asia said the China market was of crucial importance to Ascott. The average occupancy rate in the company’s two properties already in operation in Xi’an and Shenzhen exceeded 80 percent this year, Li said. He was confdent that the company would successfully manage the newly signed properties in these two cities.

First DeWitt Flagship Store Unveiled in China

On June 30, Sparkle Roll Group Ltd., the exclusive distributor in China’s mainland of DeWitt proudly announced the opening of DeWitt’s frst-ever fagship store in China. DeWitt is a super-deluxe watch brand originating from Geneva.
