Two Large-Size Lead-Zinc and Molybdenum Mines Found in Northern Guangdong

The Guangdong Geological Exploration Conference was held in Guangzhou, and Vice Governor Lin Musheng was in attendance. Reporters learned that the focus of geological exploration in recent years will be the nine major projects established through provincial-ministry cooperation and joint exploration project established in the five-party agreement. This will work towards making a major breakthrough in mineral resource exploration. Last year, the Department of Geology found that several metal and non-metal mines that were expected to become medium and large-size companies.In particular, the exploration of substituted resources in ‘crisis’ mines in Northern Guangdong made a significant breakthrough, with two large-size lead-zinc and molybdenum mines found in the periphery and deep layers of Fankou lead-zinc mine and Dabao Mountain copper polymetallic mine.
