理想是罗盘,指引人生航船的方向,理想是指路明灯,照亮人生旅行的道路。每个人都有理想,长大后你想做什么?是做一名医生、教师、警察,还是做一名演员、记者、歌星……?

David: Hi, this is David. Whos that speaking?

John: Hi, David. This is John speaking. Hows it going?

David: Great.

John: Hows the weather in London?

David: Terrible. Its raining now, so I have to stay at .home.

John: What are you doing?

David: Im watching TV. But its boring.

John: Why dont you play chess? You like playing chess,

is that right?

David: Yes. But my parents arent at home. They are still (仍然) working.

John: What does your mother do?

David: She is a doctor.

John: What about your father?

David: He is a bank clerk.

John: What do you want to be?

David: I want to be a reporter, because I like talking to people. Whats the weather like .in Beijing?

John: Its sunny.

David: What are you doing?

John: Im playing soccer. You know I want to be a soccer player.

【口语课堂】

1. Hows it going? 在这里是询问处境或事情现在的情况如何。Great. 在口语中表示“妙、好”。还可用Terrible.表示“很糟糕”。Pretty. 表示“很好”。Not bad. 表示“还行”等。

2. 在英语中,有两个句子可以询问天气状况,即Hows the weather? 和Whats the weather like? 常用表示天气的形容词来回答,如sunny/fine(晴朗的),snowy(下雪的),rainy(有雨的),windy(多风的),cold(冷的),hot(热的),foggy(有雾的),cloudy(多云的),humid(潮湿的、湿润的),dry (干燥的)。

3. Im watching TV. “我正在看电视”。此句为现在进行时,其结构为be+doing, 表示此时此刻或目前这段时间内正在进行的动作。

4. What does/do sb. do? “某人是做什么工作的?”这是用来询问某人职业的句型。另外还有两种说法:Whats sb.? 和Whats sb.s job?, 所以What does your mother do? 还可以说成Whats your mother? 和Whats your mothers job?。

1. I get a job as a teacher. 我找到一份教师的工作。

2. Does she work for a newspaper? 她为一家报社工作吗?

3. His aunt works for a travel agency. 他姑姑在一家旅行社就职。

4. Would you like to work for the hospital? 你乐意在这所医院工作吗?

5. My uncle is working at a car factory. 我叔叔如今在一家汽车工厂工作。

6. What kind of work do you want to do when you grow up? 你长大后想做什么工作?

7. He loves his job very much. 他非常热爱自己的工作。

8. What kind of job are you interested in? 你对什么工作感兴趣?

9. I have a good job at bank. 我在银行有一份好工作。

10. How long did you work there? 你在那儿工作了多久?
