A Guangdong Official Got Involved in Chen Shaoji Case

Liu Youjun, Head of Guangdongs Labor and Social Security Department was removed from his post. It is known that Liu was involved in the corruption case of Chen Shaoji, who was the former chairman of Guangdong Provincial Political Consultative Conference. Guangdong Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission has started the investigation.
Liu was born in March 1963 in Jiangsu. He graduated with the master degree of philosophy. He once took the post of Deputy Director of the Second Comprehensive Department of the Office for Guangdong Provincial Government. In August 2003, he was promoted to be the Deputy Director of the Office for Guangdong Provincial Government.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China ordered its Guangdong committee to investigate Liu after information was discovered during the inquiry into Chen Shaoji.
From 2004 until last year, Liu took bribes, sought illegal profits for others and led a lavish life style.
Chen, chairman of the provinces Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference, has been under investigation since investigators into Chinas former home appliance king Huang Guangyu and Former Assistant Public Security Minister Zheng Shaodong were tipped off that he had a large amount of property that couldnt be accounted for.
