　　On June 12，2008，I tried to call up Wang Junli，wife ofShi Lemeng to tell her that I would go to his home to getscores for preparing the book On Shi Lemeng's Choral Art，and to get some details On how folk music was used for hischorus，But his relatiVes told me that she was accompanyinghis husband who was bejng hospitalized，Before I was ableto see him in the hospital，his famiIy phoned me at dinner-time on June 16 that Mr，Shi passed away three hours ago!
