The establishment of first batch of SEZs

On July 15,1979,CCPCC and the Sate Council decided to establish tentative special zones in Shenzhen,Zhuhai,Shantou,and Xiamen.On May 16,1980,CCPCC and the Sate Council ratified "Guangdong and Fujian Province Meeting Briefing",named above mentioned zones as special economic zones (SEZs).SEZs,which regard creation as its historic mission and combined market economy and socialism together,has played an important role in China's opening-up and Sino-foreign trade has also formed a all-dimensional and multi-level setup.
