问：请讲解一下lots of的用法好吗？

答：好的。lots of意为“许多”，既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。修饰可数名词时相当于many；修饰不可数名词时相当于much。例如：

There are lots of books on the desk. 桌子上有很多书。(lots of相当于many)

There is lots of water in the glass. 杯子里有很多水。(lots of相当于much)

问：英语中have, eat都有“吃”、“喝”的意思，但具体应该如何应用呢？

答：eat可作及物或不及物动词，是日常用语。例如：

Where shall we eat? 我们在哪里吃饭？

Is there anything to eat? 有吃的东西吗？

eat也可作“喝”解。例如：

We eat our soup first. 我们先喝汤。

have 是通用语，同样可以表示“吃”，也可以表示“喝”。让别人“吃；喝”通常用have。例如：

What time do you have dinner? 你们什么时候吃晚饭？

I dont have coffee in the evening. 晚上我不喝咖啡。

Please have a cake. 请吃一个蛋糕。

问：Do you like oranges?和I like orange juice (汁). 两句中orange有何区别？

答：前一句中orange是可数名词，意为“橘子；橙子”，其复数形式为oranges；而后一句中orange是不可数名词，意为“橘汁；橙黄色”。

问：课本上出现了很多like的用法，我对其时常感到迷惑，请帮我把like的用法分析一下好吗？

答：好的。like用法多，“喜欢；像……一样” ，千万别弄错，有时“动”有时“介”！

◆like作动词是老本行，本意是“喜欢”。

1. 名词、代词身后站，“喜欢某物与某人”。 例如：

Li Mei likes the new watch very much. 李梅非常喜欢这块新手表。

2. 动名词要跟上，like照样也“喜欢”，侧重习惯与经常。例如：

Meimei likes drawing and singing. 梅梅喜欢画画和唱歌。

◆like一身兼两职，摇身就当作介词；后接名词或代词，“像……一样；如（跟）……似的”。 例如：

Throw it like this, dont throw it like that. 要这么扔，不要那么扔。

注意：look like, be like短语也意为“看起来像……一样；跟……相像”。 例如：

She looks like her mother. 她长得像她妈妈。

He is like his father very much. 他跟他爸爸很相像。

◆like人缘佳，朋友满天下；哪些固定句式要用它，现在帮你来归纳:

① would（缩写d）来加盟，would like“愿意或想要”。 例如：

—What would you like (to have)?

—Id like（to have）a cup of tea.

注意：回答Would like / love to ...?多用“...d like / love to.”

② How do / does+主语+like sth.?表示“对某人 / 物的观点、看法或喜欢程度”，此刻与What do / does +主语+ think of sth.?异曲同工。例如：

How do you like this book?＝What do you think of this book?你觉得 / 认为这本书怎么样？
