The city of Dongguan, Guangdong Province, produces 15 to 40 percent of the world's motherboards, scanners, kinescopes and micro-motors. “If the road connecting Dongguan with Huanggang Port in Shenzhen is blocked,”says Dale Lee, vice president of IBM Greater China Group,“about 70 percent of the world's computer makers would be affected.”
